Dreams and Visions

Intercession for Phoenix

Prophetic Knight

I had gone to bed and had quickly fallen asleep. As I was sleeping I realized I was not in my bed. I was somehow traveling but I was not alone. I believe that I was in the grip of two spirit beings in dark hooded cloaks. I then realized that I have encountered these two before in another dream. They are guides of some sort. Their hands are familiar to me. I had one on each side of me and each one had an arm and shoulder. Their grasp was firm and lock tight. I could not shake loose. I have learned in my past that they complete whatever task given them.

I began to think this darkness was a set up. This meant to me that I was deliberately held here to keep me from knowing too much. The darkness was used as a covering. Then suddenly I knew something or someone was there near us. The hands of the escort creatures began to exhibit a slight trembling. I was beginning to feel a fear near me. Feeling a fear is my way of saying I was sensing their fear. I had not seen anything yet nor received any sounds that would frighten me, so I was just there, locked in they’re quaking grasp. As we waited an eerie orange colored light was seen about forty feet to the left. The light was as if a round-or circular door was opened the wrong way. The reason I say opened the wrong way was that the light was at the bottom of the opening and the rest of the door was on top of it.

The door never opened any further, but now I heard a rustling of some thing, maybe clothing material or writing supplies of some kind (an ancient scribe with writing supplies tied to his belt is my guess). Anyway I was hearing a sound and as time passed the rustling sound got louder. Suddenly I saw a shadowy image come between myself and the orange light escaping from the trap door. My escorts were still shaking silently on each of my sides.

All of a sudden there in my face was a hand and arm, with bony white skin stretched taut over a skeletal structure. This hand and arm wore a similar cloak covering the head with long, semi tight fitting sleeves. Out of the shadows made by the eerie orange light I heard a dry voice speak to me. This voice was not shrill and screechy. It was a flow of sound that represented a lot of power and authority. In a manner that was showing extreme control with patience. I have never heard any man speak with such authority. This messenger had a message for me. The messenger said "If you pursue this call into the ministry then your wife will die!" Then he was silent with his finger poked at my face. I then spoke by stating that my wife and I would probably die anyway if the Lord tarries in his return to earth. We both belong to the Lord under the blood of Yeshua. As HIS, you cannot touch us without HIS permission.

Suddenly the finger and orange shadows got smaller as if we were backing up at a high rate of speed. We were moving so fast, that the orange light and image totally disappeared immediately. I still had no sensation of movement other than visually. The next sensation I had was of my two escorts tight grip was easing off. Then I could no longer feel their grip at all. By this time I realized I was in a bed, I reached over and with my right arm and felt my wife's form under the covers. Yes, I had returned to my own bed. During all this I had not felt any fear. I know that if I could have been harmed in any way they would have done so. I turned over, said a thankful prayer to the Lord and promptly fell asleep. I told no one of the dream the next day.

Dream Two

The very next day after waking up from Dream One I completed a normal day of work. After a pleasant dinner and evening it was bedtime. My wife and I said our goodnights to each other and we fell asleep. As I slept, I received the following dream. .

In one beat of my heart, I was in a large army camp. I thought 'Hey wait a minute-I should be in my bed, in Arizona sleeping. But here I am walking in the midst of a huge camp of soldiers’. Right then it seemed as if this scene was real and my thoughts of sleeping in a bed somewhere else was really a sleep vision of the night.

I stopped my walk and looked around. I saw and heard the sounds of a large medieval type army. Oh those smells that hung in the morning air in the early light of dawn. I heard the din of thousands of men, horses, dogs and armor rattling and chinking all around me. The visual images were full of color, shadows and an early morning sun in the eastern sky. Then I saw it. I could not believe it. There were the walls of Jerusalem. The holy city, my dream city was just three leagues or less away from me. I could see that our camp reached to within catapult range of the walls. We were camped just out of bowshot of their archers. I could see so clearly a few places where temporary ramparts were made against possible weak areas of the great walls. Our troops were fighting even now, as I looked out upon the hills and our camp.

I was walking through this large camp and somehow I knew my men were with me. I do not know how many but I clearly knew they were mine. I could and had depended on them many times with my life and all I possessed. There was great trust here in my heart for them. As I walked I looked down at myself and saw my arms in mail, (Light chain mail, links of metal for body armor). My hands were in very tough gloves. I noticed areas showing wear that suggest many hours holding leather objects like bridle reins.

The gloves felt as if they were a part of me. Next I looked down and saw my feet. This surprised me somewhat. In my sleep vision, I was fat with a large tummy. There I could not see my feet unless I bent forward a ways. Here I was just looking down at my feet. By now I had stopped walking and was just standing there looking at my feet. I had beautiful leather boots on. They were a bright rust color except for the soles. The soles were gray and had several hard layers of very stiff leather sewn cleverishly to the boot leather.

As I was standing there I had lifted one boot up and was examining the sole with my hand and eyes. As I stood there with my men, I suddenly noticed to my left several men guarding Moslem prisoners.

As I looked and took in more of the scene before me. I was surprised to see about eleven dead Moslems to my left, lying on the ground. They were laid out as if fallen from their knees. Then I noticed that the bodies were headless. All had their hands tied behind their backs. One even had the head attached but by only the skin at the front of the neck. The remaining prisoners were all kneeling with their right side to my left at about 45 degrees. There was one guard standing in front of the closest prisoner to me. There were two other guards at their back. A third guard was standing behind and to the left of the prisoner with his sword drawn and awaiting the order to behead the prisoner. The front guard was speaking in Arabic and asking the prisoner if he would renounce Allah and accept Jesus of Nazareth as his savior. The Moslem prisoner raised his sweaty; head with matted and dirty black hair that had once been beautiful curls and braids. He asked the guard speaking to him to come closer with a whispered voice. When the guard lowered his head to hear the whispery voice, the prisoner said hoarsely " SIR". Suddenly the guard turned his face to look the prisoner right in the eyes and then the next few moments became an eternity to my senses.

Quickly everything and everyone around me began to slow-down. Some how I was unaffected to this slowdown. Suddenly I heard the precious Holy Spirit of God speak to me. He said " Save that Moslem warrior now at all cost. Set him free to return to his people. Do it now and do not rest until he is set free from this army of siege".

As these last words of the Lord echoed deep within me I saw the prisoner hack and swoosh out a large wad of spit and cover the eyes and nose of the crouching guard. As he jumped back to wipe his face from the filth, an evil smile crossed his eyes first. I then saw his lips curl into an evil smile. Then looking right at the prisoner, he nodded to the waiting executioner behind the Moslem warrior. Suddenly I sprang into action. I was surprised at my own ability to have leapt over to a spot almost behind the Moslem warrior. In my leap, I had drawn my sword and swung it in a short arc to undercut the blade of the executioner. As our two blades met a resounding clang broke through the air. Then time to me came back to normal speed. The guard I had just stopped in mid stroke looked at me in shock. Then the guard in the front of the prisoner began to draw his sword to strike me for interfering with this execution. Then as he was drawing his sword at about mid sheath a point of a sword was placed at his nose from another of my men. My soldier then uttered in a low strong voice a statement of warning to "Hold your steel brother. Do not place your steel where God is treading lest you sin against God and King".

The guard’s hand opened and closed then he let go of his weapon. Then still holding the executioner’s blade in mid air I spoke as well. I said, “The Holy Spirit of God had just spoken to me to save this soldier's life at all costs. Furthermore I was to see that he was to be set free immediately to be sent back to his people this day and this very hour”. The guard who had my man's sword pointed in his face decided that it was not worth a prisoner’s life to die amongst brethren in this army. The executioner guard then released his grip and requested to sheath his weapon. I released my grip and we both sheathed our weapons.

As all this was sinking in to all those camped around us the next prisoner in line requested in Arabic to be set free as this one was. I replied in Arabic that the Lord God's precious Holy Spirit spoke about this one soldier. I stated that I only had authority from God to complete what I was instructed to do. I went on in Arabic that he could save himself by accepting the Lord as his savior of his own soul. It was this same God who just spared his fellow prisoner. He replied in a shaking voice “It was better to die faithful than live as a traitor. I responded with "Very well you have spoken".

I then called the other two guards over to me to help me unlock the prisoner from the chains the executioner guard came behind that prisoner who had talked to me and sent him to Allah. Evidently both executioner and questioning guards spoke Arabic and understood my last reply.

I took the Moslem warrior in my hands to steady him. He could barely stand on his own. But the realization of freedom was giving him strength rapidly. The two guards and my men gathered around the prisoner and myself asking and talking to each other and to themselves. Then my right hand (man) spoke “Sire this warrior would never get ½ a league from us before some of our army would rise up and slay him” as an escaped prisoner.

I decided he would need a weapon to defend himself. I quickly drew out my sword and handed the hilt to the man. He looked at the beautiful hilt and then looked deep into my eyes. Such a penetrating look he gave me. A look without questions but never the less a deep looking into my soul for truth to be there to back up my words of life. Truly the eyes are the windows to the soul.

He then reached out and placed a dirty but strong hand on the hilt of my offered sword. As he accepted the weight of the metal I released my grip on the blade. Then I noticed a spot of blood on the blade. I had gripped the sword so tight to await his grasp I had cut my hand slightly. He looked down and saw the blood. Then he placed his finger in the little spot of blood and then he touched his own forehead. This left a faint red smear of blood across his forehead mixed with dirt and sweat. My right hand spoke again. “Sire He will need a horse as well to escape our weapons. May I offer my steed for his need?” “Nay’ I replied. All that has transpired; was done by my hand. Take him to my steed ‘The Breath of God’ and set him upon it and ride to his line of defense and see him safely across. Use my Father’s banner as an escort shield to protect yourself as well. Now go quickly before more guards come and question this small riot’s origin. I must see the Kings immediately and explain all this done by God’s own hand.”

Several of my men left with the Moslem warrior and retraced out steps to do as I spoke.

I then with my remaining men pushed through the small murmuring crowd and went in haste to the camp of Kings. As we neared their camp, a stirring was going inside with shouts and commands. Then the camp guard approached us and cried out “What be your business with these Kings?” My shield man then spoke and stated that the son of a loyal Lord was here to speak to the Kings with urgent news of the camp. The guard recognized my shield and my man. Then my eyes met his in the early morning light of a bright eastern sunrise.

He assigned another guard to take my shield man and I into the king’s camp to await audience as requested. Once inside the camp within a camp I took a moment to notice all the life around me. There were those faithful preparing this morning’s fare. They were preparing simple bread and cheese with weak wine. Others were spreading forage hay over the ground to keep the dust down. I could hear the sounds of the squires preparing the kings mounts for a moments’ need behind me. Then as I listened I could make out the many different sounds of the entire camp around us. Thousands of men doing their morning chores and awaiting for today’s orders of battle to flow down to the lowest soldier and archer. Yet, here was order and function all within this din of sounds.

I told my shield man of my thoughts. He stood there so faithful and listened to me with intent eyes moving not one muscle. Then the escort guard came back to my shield man and requested that I follow him to the circle of request just set up as we had arrived. We did so immediately.

As we walked around the tent in front of us, we saw many nobles in a circle awaiting audience with the three kings seated in the center. Something was a stir. As I moved into an open space in this ring, I saw that the three kings were in a state of mixed dress. They were still in the process of dressing for the day. Several aides were attempting to get their boots and over wear on them. They all had their mail on and were asking multiple questions at their aides and the nobles gathered around. As I listened to the questions and obvious lack of information in the feeble replies I realized the Kings wanted to understand the turmoil of a report of escaped Moslem warriors hacking the Army of the Lord in our own camp. I then stepped one step forward and spoke clearly to all assembled.

“Sires, I bring you accurate and current information.”

The nearest King looked at me and said, “Where is your shield?

I replied, “Sire. It is here besides me, I had spoke in haste to calm my Lords and report immediately as to all this commotion and intrigue.” Suddenly my shield was slammed in my hands practically taking my breath away by my shield man. At least I was now compliance to current siege rituals.

“Then speak man, hold not your tongue and give us good telling for all to hear,” replied the first king.

I said: “Sires. There is no revolt. Nor are there any escaped Moslem warriors are running amuck your camp of siege. However there is one Moslem warrior who I set free this very morning with my own hand. He now has possession of my on sword and riding my steed ‘The Breath of God’ under my Fathers banner to his own army. My own right-hand is providing the escort.”

“Young noble you had better explain yourself” spoke the tall king just getting his left boot on and stomping his foot on the ground to get his foot all the way in.

The third king said, “Be quite all; for I sense the Spirit of our Lord here amongst us. We should hold our hearts gently to hear the Lord. Speak young brash noble, faithful son of your Father.

I answered the King with “Aye Sire. As you have rightly judged I will speak of the Holy Spirit of God and of today’s fresh move of the Spirit upon us.” I then retold of all this mornings events, leaving not one item out of the telling.

I spoke of the voice of the Holy Spirit of God giving me direct orders to save a particular Moslem Warrior. I told of my swift action to stop the executioner’s weapon. I went on to state how the warrior came to hold my sword and ride my steed with an escort by my own right hand man. Even to ride under my Father’s own royal battle banner to give protection to an unnamed captured enemy warrior.

I then completed my telling of how I came directly to this assembly to inform all of the hand of the Lord amongst us this day.

When I had completed the telling I extended my arms, which were still holding my shield forward. In silence I then I bowed my head. I held that position until the last king to speak then spoke to me. “Young noble I sense you indeed heard the Holy Spirit of our Precious Savior and Lord. You did well to execute your orders. However I did give those guards power over those prisoners late yesterday. My direct orders were to perform the proper execution if the prisoners did not accept our Precious Lord as their savior. They were part of a courageous but foolish mounted Moslem attack that failed early yesterday in an attempt to destroy two of our siege engines on the west wall”.

I replied “Sire, if I may speak again with permission?” “Speak,” shouted the first king. “Yes; let us hear again this young noble said the second king.

“Sires. I was on my way to this assembly when I ran into the chain of prisoners and all that transpired you now know of in my telling. However, I had received a message and a dire warning from the Holy Spirit during the night watch. Late last watch I had been in my prayers and reading of our Lords great mercy given to another during His life when suddenly the voice of the Holy Spirit spoke plainly to my soul. HE spoke a strong message to you my kings and Lords for this army of God.

“Speak son,” said the first king. I then said, “Sire. The voice of the Lord stated that this army will surely have great success herein for our siege of Jerusalem. However, the Lord has several commands for HIS army. They are to be followed to a man. These commands have the penalty of death to anyone who breaks them with a sword of disregard. These commands apply to both King and soldier at every level”.

“The commands I received are as follows.

No member of this army was to shed virgin blood in the conquest or celebration of victory over the walls of this ancient city.

No warrior is to rape any women within the limits of the territory belonging to the city elders.

No soldier of this army is to loot from private homes.

No mosque is to be burnt.

All gold and jewels belonging to the city government will be given to this army for payment alone.

Finally, no slaves are to taken from any house; neither male nor female.

This is the great city that saw our Lord and His words are in these stones. We as the army of God are to show forth our Heavenly Fathers mercy and kindness to all that dwell within these walls. It will be remembered again in the future as to what we do with this great city. It will even be remembered at the soon second coming of our Lord to this very city”.

As these last words echoed around us, every noble and king fell silent. The silence was strong. Not one sword brushed against a shield. There was no murmuring only silence. Then as a prayer, we heard the second king say: “Brothers and Nobles. Today we have not only heard the voice of the Lord we have heard the heart cry of our Heavenly Father. I speak publicly to place the weight of my crown to obey these commands of the Holy Spirit of our Savior and Lord”.

“I further entreat you other kings to submit to the voice of the Holy Spirit and as one we three kings should order these commands read to every soldier and commander immediately this day before another arrow is launched into this city. I further say that any soldier or Noble who defies these commands of our God should receive just and swift retribution.

This just retribution should be exactly as Joshua ordered after the Lord revealed that treacherous behavior was encountered in another army of God after the failed attack on Aai.

What say my Brothers?”

Both kings in unison replied, “We say AMEN. So be it as the Lord has spoken by the mouth of his prophet and our fellow king this day”. Then the scribe assigned to this circle then went to each king who placed his royal ring on the hot-waxed tablet. The scribe then went off to have copies of these commands made in haste and then given to every commander and noble in the entire army this day.

As the circle broke up the second king called me forward. I did so. Then he said, “Question young noble”.

“Sire?” I replied.

The king then asked, “Did you really give him your sword and your steed?”

“Truly I did. Sire.” I replied.

The king then said: “Only a prophet of the Lord would do all that was commanded. Truly you did hear the voice of the Holy Spirit. But to what gain or reason?”

I replied “Sire I do not know. I only know to obey and do not question the motives or plan of God amongst men. I do not question even if enemy soldiers are the subject of the voice of God”.

The King then said “Very well. You are released from your charge to give these commands of the Lord and to report all His Word to us this day. Now join you and your men to the battle at hand and let us trust in our God to give us this city in siege”.

I left the camp of the kings with my shield man and returned to my camp. There stood my right-hand man holding the reins to his horse awaiting my return. He inquired as to the meeting with the Kings? I told him all went well and that the army will obey the commands I had received last night from the voice of the Holy Spirit. We then joined in the siege and saw the city fall to our army. We met the Caliph of Jerusalem on the 33rd day of siege. He placed the great key of the city gate in the hands of the king’s chief Nobleman and we all shouted praises to our Lord for this victory.

As commanded by the Lord our men obeyed the victory commands. No looting or rapes were recorded by either the army or by complaint from the residents of Jerusalem. When the Caliph and his staff heard of the Words of the Lord to spare women from rape and to forbid looting they were not only grateful but were impressed with this disciplined army of our God’s. I got to visit with many local leaders and retell one and all how the voice of the Holy Spirit had so moved an army in siege to have mercy and justice in their hearts and hands.

After about two weeks of feasting and greetings I had a burden to visit Antioch. The first Christian church to have believers named as Christians and most importantly the place where prophets & teachers gathered to minister unto the Lord. This is where the Holy Spirit spoke to separate Barnabas & Saul for the work I have called them. It is mentioned in book within the Holy Bible as ‘The Acts of the Apostles’. An eyewitness, Healer Luke wrote this. This scene is mentioned in chapter 13 and verses 1-4:

13:1 Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.

2 As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.

3 And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.

4 So they, being sent forth by the Holy Ghost, departed unto Seleucia;

I had a strong desire to go and visit the place where so much happened for the cause of the Gospel. After sharing these scriptures and my heart, my new friends insisted that they would personally take me. I said “No. I will go with just my own men for protection and safety”. I reminded everyone how our army was breaking up with the conquest completed. A garrison was stationed in Jerusalem to maintain order. Two of the three Kings were already in search of transport back to Europe. News of unrest was reaching their ears and they wanted to begin the homeward voyage as soon as it was expedient to move.

My men and I left Jerusalem mid day on the 15th day after the fall of Jerusalem to the Army of the God. As we rode I remembered the first time I had seen the city walls off in the distance and remarking how large they were. Yet, today as I road through these streets the city seemed so small to me. It was so small that I wished for my good steed to be under me. He alone could break me free of these confining spaces. I drew comfort knowing I was with my trusted men and especially my right hand man. We rode north for two days following the coastal valley path never far from the Jordan River. As we rode I thought of faithful Samuel going about central Israel judging the people and acting as high priest to all the tribes of Israel.

In the middle of the third day out a scout came riding hard back to me with news of an Arab camp just ahead. He advised that it was a strange camp. It did not seem to like any of the tribes we have seen up to the siege of Jerusalem.

I called a conference and it was decided that the scout, myself with my right-hand would ride on ahead to see this camp. Then we would decide how best we would avoid their observation.

We rode out silently as if their spies were everywhere. As we were ready to go further on foot with our horses tethered behind us, an Arab knight with a white flag of truce approached us. He called for my right-hand to approach. My right hand looked at me, then and he mounted his horse and did as bided. All the time my scout was loosing two arrows from his quiver on the left side of his saddle in case there was trouble afoot. His bow was already in his right hand ready for action.

My right-hand rode back and stated we were to follow this knight into the camp ahead as guests. We all knew that a guest was safe in any Moslem camp. All Moslems are honor bound to obey this law.

We three then rode out to the Arab knight and as we got near him, he turned and rode off. We rode with him at a trot for two leagues then we saw the camp. What a camp it was. It looked as if an army was waiting for just our little band.

My right-hand looked at me and I looked back into his sparkling eyes in wonder as to these developments. We continued our approach to the camp. As we got within half a league two score of mounted men came riding out of the camp to meet us. As they approached our Arab Knight they split into two lines and waited as we rode in between them. They all wore such broad smiles. As I looked closer I noticed that each of them had big toothy grins on their faces.

We rode into the camp with our silent knight. The only sounds we heard was the breath our horses and the sound of their hoofs striking the rocky ground. We were led to the largest pavilion in the camp. When we got up to the wall of this enormous pavilion, men came from nowhere and held our horses as we dismounted. I learned later they had taken our mounts to be fed and well treated. I turned when I noticed a flap in the wall of this large pavilion opened. A small crowd of men, all fully armed came out to gently escort us into the center of the tent. I stood in the center and the scout was to my left and my right hand was at my right. I noticed a curtain and it was splitting in front of me. Each piece of this curtain was pulled aside and tied to two poles. One was just to my left and the other to my far right. My eyes then focused on a large golden throne. This throne had an occupant. He was a jovial and plump figure. We three were greeted first in English then in Arabic and finally in Aramaic by a very old and wise looking figure to the left of the throne. I replied in Arabic the formal response of guests to ones home. “Ahlechem Shalom”.

We were invited to wash and refresh ourselves. Water and towels were brought and we were grateful to do so. I was surprised how refreshing it felt to feel the cool water on my face and neck. After our cleansing we were then introduced to the seated figure on the throne. He was introduced as the Father to his people. He greeted us in the name of Allah. I replied that I greet him in the name of our Lord Yeshua from Nazareth in Israel. He was surprised that I did not greet him in the name of my king from Europe. I told his Lordship that as a man I was given to Yeshua as a small child and I only held allegiance to Him. No earthly king could hold my true allegiance. Yet I was to obey earthly authority as long as it did not conflict with the Word of the Lord. All authority came from our Heavenly Father and was to be respected and obeyed.

The king then stood up and beconded us closer with his hand. As we approached he stepped down to the base to meet with us and to personally greet us. This was indeed favor like I only known at home before this crusade. I removed my sword from my buckler. I then took it, my helmet and riding gloves and gave them to my right hand. I was invited to sit on the bottom step on a plush rug and speak to this king. He said he had waited for the last days to pass so he could meet me. He had so much wanted to thank me for such a wonderful gift for him and all his people. I was taken aback. I told this king that there was misinformation since I had not given him any such gift. I was clear on this matter. Yet the king insisted that I had done so and that he was very grateful. I looked at my right-hand and then at the scout and we all three considered all of these events a great mystery.

Behind me was such a large stir and commotion that all eyes were turned to seek the source of origin. To my left a small crowd of young warriors came around the throne area and proceeded to come exactly between my right hand and myself. They all were armed and looked very fierce. As I looked this little band split in two and a tall handsome Moslem warrior stood before us. His eyes were sparkling with excitement. I was silent waiting for the king to speak. The king did speak and stated that here was my gift to him and all his people.

I was still not grasping any understanding of the moment. Suddenly my right hand started to cry out and then he started laughing. A laughter so loud that the poles of the pavilion shook and so did the very roof of that large tent. At least it seemed to me. I had never known my right-hand to have the ability to laugh that loud before. It was deafening is the only way I can describe it. His laughter scared not a few of our hosts that day.

I still did not understand and it was just myself and the scout who had no understanding.

The tall warrior then came forward and said in English with a slight hint as to his native tongue. “Sire, will you really free this Moslem warrior and give him your own sword and your best steed of war to escape on? Would you even allow your right-hand to escort this same warrior to the enemy lines under your Fathers royal Battle Banner?”

I THEN GRASPED THE IRONY OF THIS MEETING. Here before me was that same Moslem warrior I had heard the Holy Ghost tell me to set free. Here he was looking like a great prince among his people.

“Yes, Yes,” said the king as he read my eyes and knew that I finally understood this encounter.

He said to me “Sir Prophet. This is my only beloved son that was captured in battle the day before you released him. He had volunteered to lead a desperate attack to destroy two of your army’s most critical war engines. Alas he failed and was captured. Never to be heard of again until the next day when he rides up to my brother’s troops under Christian escort and under a Royal Battle Banner of Heaven itself. My brother was in morning for his only nephew and then suddenly here he was as if resurrected from the dead. Not only was his lost nephew alive he had come back with a great weapon of war, your personal sword. But he had a greater gift of a wonderful horse. We all know why the Horse was so well named. He is truly as fast as the breath of your God.

I stood and the prince and I grasped each other as brothers. As I held this former prisoner I thought how the Holy Spirit once again spoke well and allowed the Hand of the Lord to move among men. All they asked of me both the prince and the king was “Who is this Holy Spirit of God? How did he know about my son? How did you hear the words of a heavenly voice?”

I then spent the rest of that day telling them out of God’s word how the Holy Spirit was sent by Yeshua of Nazareth 50 days after he resurrected from the dead at the hands of the Romans stationed in Israel in those days.

The next morning we found ourselves in front of a large crowd. So large I could not count them in any way stood the grateful king, his son and my right-hand. I had sent the scout back to my men to command them to come forward and rest with me in this hospitable camp. They had arrived late last night and had retired after I saw that they had a good meal and were well placed for rest and sleep for the night.

Now here we all were gathered up here on this stage looking out over all these people. The vizier spoke and the people became silent. Then the king spoke. He said: My people Allah has been our God since the days of Father Ishmael after his mother and he were driven out of Father Abraham’s camp. However today by the Holy Spirit of Yeshua of Nazareth now stands before you my only son. He is the only heir to this throne to protect and lead you in this life. Yet today this man of God that stands with me has shown in our word and in the Holy Bible how this same Yeshua died for all the children of Father Abraham. In gratitude and with the eyes of my understanding being opened I and my son have asked this Yeshua of Nazareth in the country of Israel under our cousins rule to forgive us of our sins and to let his shed blood from Roman nails wash our hearts anew. Today I stand before as a Christian in debt to this Yeshua as my eternal savior. In debt because he saved my son’s physical life and now has saved my son’s eternal life.

Then as one man all those in the crowd spoke to state that they must follow in the footsteps of their king and prince and embrace this Holy Spirit and this Yeshua of Nazareth from the country of Israel. My right-hand then had the vizier tell everyone to bow their heads and repeat this simple prayer. He then grabbed the kings and princes hands and together they led that nation at that moment to accept Yeshua as their savior from this day on forever.

Then the king said to the vizier we are to be baptized later today in the Jordan River just as Yeshua was by his cousin. The vizier then looked to all those in the crowd and said “They will want the same as you my Lord or they will not be satisfied.” I replied that I and my band of men, all two hundred and ten of us could also baptize and pray with them. So it was agreed that we all would move over to the Jordan and begin to baptize each and every person from the realm of this king and prince.

It took two full days to baptize every person. What an experience this was. I was so delighted to see all these new converts. We talked amongst ourselves and some twenty of my men said that the Holy Spirit was leading them to go back with this nation and teach them all about our Lord. We gave them all our own bibles as teaching aids and prayed together with communion. Then we blessed these brothers, our comrades in arms to their new destiny as teachers and preachers of righteousness.

Several of my men felt that this report must be heralded around the known world for the Glory of the Father in Heaven and His Son Yeshua. I sent another twenty out in all directions to carry forth this report of Good News. We sent letters with each rider to all known authorities describing the wonders seen here and back in Jerusalem.

After this I felt the urge to complete my journey to Antioch. I made formal preparations to say good by to our new friends the King and prince of these wonderful people.

When my right-hand came and said that all was in ready for our departure I was sad and yet glad in my heart. I came out and said our formal goodbye and then we asked for our mounts to be brought forward. Suddenly the prince rode up on ‘The Breath of God, wearing the sword I had given him. He rode over to me after his people spent not too little time cheering him. He then got off the horse and came to me. He drew his sword and offered it to me hilt forward. I looked in his eyes for the last time and saw deep black pools of joy and peace in Yeshua, the Son of God. The Holy Spirit inside me spoke so plainly to take the sword in humility and grace. I did just that from a bent knee and a kiss to my new brothers cheek.

As we stood together the prince placed the reins of “The Breath of God in my ungloved hand and took the reins of my horse from my right-hand and then stood off a ways to give us room to mount. My horse was saddled in Arabic fashion with a new lighter Arabic bridle. I have never used any other saddle than that saddle and bridle to this day on that wonderful horse.

We mounted and rode off as different men. Men that had been changed by watching the power of the hand of the Lord amongst men for the name of Yeshua.

We made Antioch four long days later. There we refreshed ourselves with water and food. Afterwards my right-hand and I went looking for the ruins of the Antioch church building. We found an old guide who somehow was an old friend of my right-hand. This so-called guide led us out of town to a small overgrown area and told us that these were the existing ruins of the Antioch church. No remaining wall was higher than a meter. Yet when one scratched the floor you could find a tiled Roman floor. So this was an old place. This knowledge was comforting. As I walked these floors I began to pray. Silently at first then I began to move in my prayer language until I was praising and praying very loud. There was just the three of us and our guide had gone under a shade tree and was sleeping through all my prayers. My right-hand was ever at my side like a silent sentinel ever besides me. What a loyal friend and comrade he was. I love him so much. I never felt alone because of his constant presence full of love and great loyalty to my Father and then to me. I knew only that he was sent to me by my Father in Heaven. Even from my earliest memories he had always been there for me. He was a great teacher, mentor, comrade in arms and a constant friend.

As I prayed I walked through a doorway from the large room in to a room that was about half the size of the main room. As my boot crossed over the threshold I looked at my boot and saw an old friend but suddenly everything else changed. As I walked in the room the building was complete and in use. There was a high roof and lamps were everywhere illuminating all the nooks and floor space. As I looked at the nice new looking mosaic floor I noticed I was not alone in the room. There were at least twenty men seated or kneeling in a large open circle about the center of the room. They were dressed Roman & Greek styles. One man was praying in Greek another in Latin. The rest were praying in their prayer languages. They were all praying to the Lord in the name of Yeshua. Stating they were Christians dedicated followers of the Lords Christ. The savior of the whole earth. I turned around and saw my right-hand still in the main room looking through the door at me with a large smile. I noticed that he was still amongst ruins yet I was clearly inside the room that was in perfect shape. The roof and walls were all intact. How could this be I mouthed to my right-hand. He then silently pointed to heaven. Then I knew I was in a vision from heaven of Antioch of old. Could it be true? Were Saul & Barnabas in this room now praying to Christ?

I looked back at the men and decided to view this vision from Heaven. I began to pray along but they acted as if I was not there with them. I guess I could see and hear all of this scene but not be seen or heard by them. As I watched and listened to the my brothers pray to Yeshua and our Heavenly Father I heard one of the men speak clearly and state under the hand of the Holy Spirit to separate Barnabas and Saul for the call of God upon them. Two of the men from the far side of the loose circle stood up and then walked into the middle and then after hugging each other, they knelt down together. Then one, who I just somehow know is a prophet of God, stood up and got oil from a clay jar and poured it on a small flat plate. He then went to the circle members and each dipped a palm in the plate of oil. Then each one touched his oily palm with his other palm. Then as if on queue all the men rose-up and came around the two kneeling figures and laid their hands on them. Some placed both their hands on them. Others placed one hand on them and lifted the other towards heaven.

They prayed for quite a while then it was over and every one hugged and kissed the two brothers who were in the center. Two men even gave them bags of coins that clinked when they were tied to their belts or sashes.

Right then I looked back at the doorway and saw my right-hand standing there amongst the ruins. He was waving goodbye to me. I noticed a wink in his left eye and then he changed into a bright ball of light. Somehow, that light grew so bright it turned into a loud sound of wind as in a tornado that began to blow through the ruins. Suddenly I was back in my bed in Arizona sitting up and looking in the early dawn light of my bedroom and my sleeping wife was lying besides me.

All I could do just then was to wait for my heart to settle back into my chest from my mouth. I then began to sing praises in my heart to my most wonderful Lord. My final prayer was that already I miss those comfortable boots, gloves and that wonderful horse.
